Okay...

Got the ugly screw up fixed and my blogroll is working at last. Sort of...got to add 2 links before it stopped updating. I'm too tired to shake it until it squeals like a pig so I'm gonna stop while I'm ahead and go back at it later.

Anyway, I got a 'nice' rejection on a flash I recently submitted to an anthology. While the piece wasn't accepted, the editor did comment that it had rather 'nice lines' within the piece. So, it wasn't complete dreck which is good to know. Just wasn't for them. Since it's an odd bit of freeform conciousness writing from a disturbed individual's point of view, it might take a while to get it *anywhere* I do think I do disturbed rather well though. ;-)

It's dreary and rainy here, although not too cold. Perfect autumn day actually and I've wasted most of it mucking around in bed. The joy of only having one very self sufficent teen means that I can do that and get away with it w/o feelings of guilt. Hey, at least I made coffee.

I've got a nice stack of newly delivered science fictions books from the Science Fiction Book Club and the new NFG and Electric Velocipede to read. I'll either be good and chip away at the story I'm supposed to be writing or be a lazy ass and read all day. Decisions, decisions...
